The Who Is Carter Foundation is proud to introduce Mary Hawkins, Content & Editorial Director for The Brain Possible, a project of Who Is Carter. Mary has spent the last 7 years working as a senior level writer and editor, most recently as Deputy Editor for CafeMom, a site that—within one year of its launch in 2006—became the most trafficked website for women on the internet. As the first full-time team member at The Brain Possible, Mary will pioneer editorial vision and content strategy, highlighting trending news and proven information from the world of pediatric health while expanding the site’s reach to a growing number of families in need of its resources. She will also be accountable for The Brain Possible's social media presence, managing the site’s Practitioner Registry, and other day-to-day details.

Mary has a passion for travel and exploring, and she's always up for an adventure. She's a proud New Englander who lives in Connecticut, and when she's not working, you'll most likely find her out on a hiking trail enjoying the great outdoors with her 13-year-old son.
